Lil Wayne Confirms Rumors That He And Nivea Are Expecting A Baby

Lil Wayne has yet another child coming, from yet another woman. Fresh off a recent addition to his family -- with actress Lauren London -- the rapper revealed recently that he and R&B singer Nivea are expecting a child as well.

In an interview with BBC's Tim Westwood, Weezy confirmed rumors that he'd knocked up Nivea, and the couple were expecting a son.

The child will be Lil Wayne's third son in just over a year. However, he did not provide much info regarding the upcoming birth.

But, during the interview, there was a little confusion about just exactly how many women the rapper has knocked up.

"Two girls pregnant at the same time?" Westwood said. "Congratulations."

Wayne responded "Three," according to MTV, before clarifying for Westwood, who thought he meant he'd gotten three women pregnant at the same time.

"I mean [I'll have] three sons," Weezy explained.

While this is Weezy's third son, it would be his fourth child. He has son with London, and another last year with an unidentified mother. He also has a daughter, named Reginae, with his ex-wife Antonia "Toya" Carter.

Nivea is also the ex-wife of singer The-Dream, and birth three of his children -- a daughter in 2005, followed by twin boys in 2006.

Lil Wayne on Jay-Z’s ‘D.O.A.’ Track: ‘Auto-Tune Ain’t Dead … T-Pain Is My Dude’

It's been months since Jay dropped his controversial "D.O.A. (Death Of Auto-Tune)" track, but it's still making waves.

As of late, the tension over the song between the rapper and T-Pain has continued to build. First Pain dissed him in Vegas, then he clarified his comments saying he was frustrated, and then even dropped a track apologizing.

One artist who has utilized the auto-tune program is Lil Wayne, and if you ask him if he thinks it's dead, he'll tell you ... no way.

In a recent interview with BBC's Tim Westwood, he was asked that very question. Weezy said the auto-tune effect is not dead, and isn't going to die any time soon if he has any say in the matter.

"I was starting to think about naming my album -- I got a new album coming out. I was gonna name it -- after the Rebirth 1 -- we gonna name it Rebirth 2: Rebirth of Auto-Tune," Weezy said with a laugh.

He's joking, but as Wayne continued, he said he's in T-Pain corner when it comes to Jay's attempt to axing the popular trend.

"Stop it, stop it. Nah, there's no such thing as 'Death of Auto-Tune.' T-Pain is my dude," the rapper said. "He's on everybody single, he's been on everybody single, and he had auto-tune on every single one of them. So, every song I do with him, he better have auto-tune on it.

"I love it. Keep your auto-tune popping. Auto-tune ain't dead, you got the whole game using that. Don't talk about the music I've heard [out in the UK], everybody is using auto-tune out here too. So, no death of auto-tune. I've heard songs [out in the UK]. You know at home, everybody got auto-tune. You can't find a song without auto-tune," he continued.

According to the rapper, there's nothing wrong with using the vocal tuner, even if the market is being saturated by it. His only requirement is that if you do it, make sure it's done right.

"I say 'If you know how to use it right -- nah, if the song sound nice, do it.' Why not?" Wayne said. "Auto-tune is like dollars. They didn't make auto-tune to say 'You can't use it.' Use it."

Soulja Boy Late On His Rent in L.A., Facing Eviction

Despite flaunting big jewelry and his braggadocios money talk, Soulja Boy Tell 'Em is behind on his rent and is in jeopardy of being evicted from his luxury Los Angeles apartment, according to a report by TMZ.
The young rapper's landlord is upset, claiming Soulja Boy owes around $10,000 in unpaid rent and late fees.
Soulja Boy responded by posting a video on his Twitter page (@SouljaBoyTellEm), flaunting hundreds of thousands of dollars in jewelry, luxury bags and backpacks, and a box full of cold hard cash.
"I see these blog sites trying to tear me down, yall got me f***ed up," the rapper tweeted. "You can make up all the stories you won't on me. NUMBERS DON'T LIE!"
On top of that, tenants have complained about the rapper and his crew being too loud, and causing overcrowding in the building. The landlord reportedly sent Soulja Boy a letter last month, which TMZ obtained a copy of, explaining some of the complaints.
"We have received complaints of noise disturbances and guests wandering the hallway and Observation Deck. This is a direct violation of your Lease Agreement," the letter read.
"Additionally, we were notified that you had over 10 cars parked in guest parking on the evening of September 25th. This is a violation of your lease ... which states, 'You may have no more than two overnight guests at a time unless we provide specific approval.'"
The letter came a week before the landlord sent the rapper a bill for $9,376.10 in unpaid rent.
"What um tryna figure out tho is how u gon hate and say a n**** is broke who is CLEARY gettin money? Sh** makes no since," an upset Soulja Boy later tweeted.

Plies Discusses Beef With T-Pain: ‘I’mma Take The High Road’

2008-12-20 - Plies and T-PainFlorida rapper Plies apparently has some sort of beef going on with his T-Pain, but hasn't really addressed it. If you remember, T-Pain appeared alongside Plies on his first hit single, "Shawty," back in 2007. But, for reasons unknown to us, the pair hasn't been on the best of terms.
Pain apparently called the rapper "disrespectful," and to take things further, allegedly said he'd leave a certain performance if Plies was to perform before him.
In a recent interview with Tampa 98.7 radio show called "Orlando and the Freakshow," Plies shedded some light the alleged "beef" and the claims that he's "disrespectful."

"I think I'm probably the most respectful artists in the business and the game," Plies said on the air. "That's how I live my life. Unfortunately, when you experience this success, people don't embrace it the same way. It's been several dudes who have put me into their situation, and I'mma take the high road every time because I understand how important that is ... I have a bigger picture I'm trying to accumulate on a national level."
While Plies doesn't specify the root of the tension between the two, he does, indirectly, credit his success as part of the problem.
"There's no manual with being, what I like to call, semi-successful. Unfortunately, when you become semi-successful, people want you to live your live the way they want you to live it. For me, I've never been that person," the rapper said.
Plies said that at the present moment, while he's enjoying success, he refuses to focus on the ever-present rap beefs. However, he does say that one day, he might air out all the industry confrontations. Just not today.
"One day, if it's God's will, and I'm not hot anymore, I'mma address all of this," Plies said. "But while I'm lukewarm right now, I ain't got time to deal with it."
Despite the situation, Plies thanked Pain for helping him launch his career, and simply said that, at times, communication isn't there, and that complicates things.
However, he still considers the auto-tune master one of the best in the game today, and questioned why he hasn't received the recognition he deserves.
To me, I feel Pain is one of the most talented individuals that a lot of us have every came across in this business," said Plies. "I tell people all the time, in his defense, for a dude to be on 40 records, for a dude to be a monster at radio like he has been, for a dude who's experienced the success he's experiencing in this short time frame, you never have seen Pain on the cover of a magazine. I feel it's because people don't respect what he's brought to this industry. I always been a fan..."
